On Thursday, April 20, Dan Costello announced his retirement as Musical Director of the Vocal Revolution chorus effective July 7, 2017. Dan will pass the baton immediately following their performance at the Barbershop Harmony Society’s International Chorus Contest in Las Vegas this July.
During his 10-year tenure with the Vocal Revolution (formally Sounds of Concord), Dan has motivated, inspired, and guided the Vocal Revolution to six consecutive Northeastern District Chorus Championships and five International contest appearances. He also led us to being crowned WGBH’s Sing That Thing! Season 2 Champion in 2016.
We would like to thank Dan for his 10 years of outstanding service to the chorus and chapter and wish him the best as he begins retirement.
