Musical styles will range from traditional barbershop to contemporary a cappella and more!

This show will be held at Herter Park Amphitheater in Cambridge, a beautiful outdoor performance space along the Charles River bike path. This site is accessible by bus and is a short 30 minute walk from Harvard Square. Water and refreshments will be sold by Herter Park.

The Little Blue Bakery will be there selling delicious breakfast and lunch - coffee, baked goods, sandwiches, smoothies and more! Of course this is at a park, so you could also bring a picnic lunch!

Vocal Revolution: Then and Now

Vocal Revolution: Then and Now

Vocal Revolution, New England’s award-winning a cappella chorus, celebrates this annual rite of spring with their new director, Joey Constantine. The chorus will present its familiar sounds of tight ringing harmonies and Joey Constantine's inspirations of infusing contemporary music with the ringing barbershop style.

The broad appeal of the barbershop a cappella style is also represented by guest performers Women of Note (Hudson, MA), the regional gem of Harmony, Incorporated, and the award-winning Greenlight Quartet.

Student Barbershop Harmony Festival Reunion!

Student Barbershop Harmony Festival Reunion!

Vocal Revolution, formerly Sounds of Concord (VR) and Women of Note (WON) invite you to a special guest night - a reunion of the Metro West Student Barbershop Festivals, which ran from 2004-2007. We realize that our decade-plus old records just show original sign-ups, so if you were unable to attend please come and join in the fun anyway - all are welcome! This will be a nice opportunity to reconnect with old singing friends and we’re planning a great evening of song. To add to the fun, as you RSVP, we’ll send you learning tracks and music for a song to learn in advance which we’ll sing together. The guys will learn "You’ve Got a Friend in Me", from Toy Story to sing with VR. The women will learn "A Whole New World", from Aladdin to sing with WON.

Many other activities will round out the evening. Feel free to bring friends if you like, the more the merrier! And following the event you’re welcome to join us at 99 Restaurant in Waltham, where we grab a bite to eat and sing even more!

Guys should RSVP to Scott Domaratius: outreach@vocalrevolution.org
Women should RSVP to Maria Gabriella: MariaDGabriella@gmail.com

If you are able to reach any of your chorus friends, please pass this along. Additionally, if you have any festival photos, send them along as well and we’ll make them available to all.
