A Cappella Music Festival 2019

  • Herter Park Amphitheatre 1175 Soldiers Field Rd Boston, MA 02134 (map)

This summer, Vocal Revolution will be hosting our 2nd Annual free outdoor festival featuring the best of Metro-Boston’s adult a cappella talent. Various guest groups will perform from 11am-4pm, with Vocal Revolution performing short sets throughout the day. Musical styles will range from traditional barbershop to contemporary a cappella and more!

We will also be offering several workshops throughout the day, including Intro to Barbershop & Tag Singing, Intro to Scat Singing, Intro to Beat-Boxing, Using Looper Pedals with Voice, and a group voice lesson, as lead by Vocal Revolution.

Interview with festival founder, Krysta Petrie, on WPKZ Radio

Attendance is free but donations will be accepted to cover costs! Last year, with your help, we met our goal to break even. We are doing this for the community, so every little thing will help make the event even bigger and better for the next year.

Please email if you have any additional questions!

Performance & Workshop Schedule

Schedule subject to change. Check back for the latest schedule.

This show will be held at Herter Park Amphitheater in Boston, a beautiful outdoor performance space along the Charles River bike path. This site is accessible by bus and is a short 30 minute walk from Harvard Square. Water and refreshments will be sold by Herter Park.

We are excited to welcome back The Little Blue Bakery as our food vendor this year! They will have baked goods, coffee, smoothies, sandwiches and more! Everyone loved the food last year, so why not give the people what they want?

So what people are saying about this festival?

I want to say that the entire event, start to finish, was really amazing. For me (and my family, who was there), the event was SO positive, so inspirational, that it ranks easily as one of my top VR events since I joined.
