Support Our Harmony by Making Your End-of-Year Donation Today.

As 2023 draws to a close, we want to express our deepest gratitude for your continued support of the Greater Boston Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. You have experienced personally how a cappella singing can transform lives, and your commitment to empowering and enhancing communities through accessible musical excellence, have helped us sustain the harmony that defines our chorus.

We continue to be the home for two award-winning choruses, Vocal Revolution and VocaMotion, and members of several award-winning barbershop quartets like Daily Special, Fireside, Greenlight, The Queen’s Gambit, and Summer Street. We have established or renewed relationships with the Mass Cultural Council, the Downtown Boston Business Improvement District, the Greater Boston Choral Consortium, and others, even as our membership rebounds towards pre-pandemic levels.

We cannot understate the value and excitement that stems from founding the VocaMotion Treble Chorus. Started only 11 months ago, VocaMotion has grown swiftly in size, won awards, and successfully embodied the spirit of Everyone in Harmony. Its energy and excellence, and the enthusiasm of its members, has further invigorated a community still aching from the pandemic.

As 2024 approaches, we grow even more excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. We are keeping our shows free and maximally accessible to the community—including the Annual Boston A Cappella Festival in Boston, where we even enlisted an ASL interpreter for the Deaf community! Again we are honored to represent the Northeastern District this summer at the international convention in Cleveland, strengthening our place within the singing world and fostering connections among our many members, friends, and colleagues.

To ensure that we can carry this momentum into 2024 and beyond, and continue to a positive impact, we invite you to make a tax-deductible donation to the Greater Boston Chapter before the end of the year. Your contribution will directly support:

  • Artistic Excellence. Our inspiring new musical arrangements and high-quality performances captivate audiences and draw praise from our peers.

  • Community Engagement. Outreach programs and invitational events bring the joy of a cappella music to diverse audiences and inspire new musicians.

  • Education and Development. We are committed to coaching and training our members to discover their best voice, refine their vocal skills, build musical and performance knowledge, and grow personally as members of the community.

Donating is easy! Simply visit https://www.vocalrevolution.org/donations or Venmo us at @vocalrevolution to make your tax-deductible contribution. Every donation, regardless of size, makes a significant difference in our ability to pursue our mission and spread the joy of a cappella music. Individuals who contribute $100 or more before December 31st will be recognized in our show programs and on our website. If your organization matches donations, be sure to act quickly so that we can send you a receipt!

Thank you for considering supporting VocaMotion, Vocal Revolution, and the Greater Boston Chapter of BHS. Your generosity allows us to continue creating beautiful music and fostering a sense of community through our shared love of a cappella harmony.

Wishing you a harmonious holiday season and a joyful new year!

Warm regards,
